Local Laws
Local Laws are a set of laws that govern the running of the Shire of Narembeen by way of health, building and other areas such as parking.
These local laws pertain only to the Shire and have just been reviewed to reflect todays society.
Local Laws are important for the community as they set guidelines for all to abide by creating uniformity within the Shire.
Local Laws must be passed by Council and also passed by the Minister for Local Government so as to be deemed appropriate. Narembeen Shire is in the midst of completing a review of the local laws, a list of these laws is included below. Once the complete review has been carried out these by laws will be accessible through this web site.
