Narembeen CRC/Medical Centre Extension Update

Published: Wednesday, 3 April 2019 at 3:16:36 PM

It is wonderful to see this project nearing completion.  The building has undergone a compliance inspection with a few issues currently being addressed as well as some building defects being rectified.  Big thank you to Busselton City Constructions who have provided staff to undertake the compliance issues and rectify the defects.

You can imagine the excitement last week when 10 pallets of furniture arrived, it was all hands on deck to unpack the furniture—thank you to Ian & Kellie Mortimore, Glenn & Leanne Sands, Arthur & Teresa Cousins, Chris Jackson and Sheree Thomas.  Kellie has been working very hard to assemble her furniture and Leanne with some helpers just this morning have unpacked all of the CRC/Fencepost furniture.   Busselton City Constructions will complete the assembly of furniture this week—such an exciting time!

It is envisaged that the Telstra services along with IT installations will be completed on Monday 29th April and Tuesday 30th April 2019, with services being back to normal that week, be assured we will let you know when we have the exact date.

The expansion of the Narembeen Medical Centre, the Narembeen Community Resource Centre and the Narembeen Fencepost is a Shire initiative and we are pleased to continue to assist in providing vital services to the community through improved infrastructure and increased service delivery.
