OFFICIAL NAMING OF THE NETBALL COURTS

The Joan McCutcheon Courts

On Saturday past and present netballers, councillors and freeman gathered at the Narembeen Netball Courts to officially name the courts after former councillor Mrs MJ (Joan) McCutcheon and her contribution to the Narembeen Community.

Joan McCutcheon was elected to the Shire of Narembeen Council in 1984 and served 12 years until 1996, during these years Joan represented her community and helped to shape Narembeen.

Joan McCutcheon was the first female Councillor elected to the Shire of Narembeen and Council would like to acknowledge this achievement
