Exciting times for our local library users with the relocation of the Shire Library to the Narembeen Community Resource Centre being undertaken from Monday 29th April to Friday 3rd May.  Please note that library services will be unavailable during this period.

The library will officially open its doors at 2/19 Churchill Street on Monday 6th May 2019, part of the Narembeen Community Resource Centre extension project, bringing to fruition a state of the art community facility and realising a long held dream of the Shire of Narembeen and the Narembeen Community Resource Centre.

The new library is a large space which showcases bright new furniture, a great place for people of all ages to gather, it will support lifelong learning and the ongoing health and wellbeing of the community for years to come.

CEO of the Shire of Narembeen Mr Chris Jackson said “we are extremely proud of the new facility, the library aims to offer a range of services to stimulate lifelong learning and creativity for adults, young people and children alike”.
