The Shire of Narembeen recognises the importance of access to suitable housing to support our community, attract workers and encourage people to make Narembeen their home.
Through the Shire’s partnership with Central East Accommodation & Care Alliance (CEACA), four new two-bedroom homes are planned for Narembeen as part of CEACA’s Wheatbelt Expansion Project. Further information about the project and eligibility is provided in the CEACA flyer below.

The Shire manages a range of residential properties, including Shire-owned and community housing. Shire-owned housing is primarily prioritised for Shire employees, while community housing is available to eligible members of the wider community.
Anyone seeking housing in Narembeen is encouraged to register by completing the Housing Waiting List form below. When a vacancy becomes available, the Shire can consider registered applicants whose housing needs align with the available property.
Registration also helps the Shire understand local housing needs and identify future housing opportunities. Registration does not guarantee that housing will become available or that an applicant will be offered a property.
