Narembeen Night Sky Wonders

Past Event

Equipped with 4 computer-controlled telescopes and over 18 years of astronomical knowledge, Richard Tonello from AES’s (Astronomy Education Services) will bring distant celestial treasures into the eyes and minds of students and others in the community.

AES is passionate about educating and inspiring the scientists of tomorrow, helping ignite the spark of curiosity in the minds of all ages. As mentioned above Richard will be attending the Narembeen High School during the day of the event to provide the students with some Space Science and Astronomy lesson, which will give the children an insight to what they will experience if they are attending the evening/stargazing event.

A 30-minute presentation at the beginning of the evening brings into focus what we’ll be observing plus a laser guided tour of the night sky to highlight various constellations, planets and other celestial phenomenon.
