Part Time, Customer Service/Administration Officer (6 Month Contract)

The Shire of Narembeen is seeking a suitable candidate to undertake a 6 Month Contract position as a part time customer service/administration officer.

It is envisaged that the successful applicant will work approximately 24 hours each week spread across three working days. The role is expected to operate from mid-July 2019 to mid-January 2020.

Duties: customer service duties including police/vehicle licensing, cash handling, daily banking, filing and community facility bookings.

Attendance at a Department of Transport Training Course for Police Licensing will be compulsory and will be undertaken during working hours and funded by the Shire. Prior experience with police licensing, creditor and payroll systems or local government will be looked at favourably.

Salary is negotiable dependant on the knowledge and experience of the candidate within the boundaries of Level2/3 of the Local Government Officers Award, gross annual salary range of $41,000 to $47,500, with the salary and leave allowances being allocated pro rata to accommodate the part time nature of the role.
